As most teenage girls, I babysat for extra money. But my mother babysat in our home and I helped her. When I was in high school I helped with the toddlers and babies at a local daycare called Grandma's House. I was a nanny to three wonderful children. I stayed with them while their father was away on business. Although it is not my actual career now, I have been the co-teacher of the 1 and 2 year old class at Bacons Castle Baptist Church for the past three or four years. I help with my sons boy scout troop and through that, we volunteer to help the local cub scouts. I am CPR, AED, and First Aid certified.
