Having siblings to look up to, and a younger sister whom I started taking care of at an early age, I can confidently say that I understand what it is like to take care of a child. To being the person they may look up to, and recognizing what that means to them and the parents. I understand what a good role model is, and to me it is exemplifying characteristics such as being responsible, street wise, fun, and overall finding the good in all things because as a kid, those are the things that are important and that will make the child happy, but also it will help them learn as they grow up. I have taken care of infants, to kids with disabilities (down syndrome, autism) Their enthusiasm and energy is what I love most about caregiving and why I look for more opportunities!
