Growing up with a mother who babysat my entire childhood, I learned how to care for kids at a young age. I babysat for family friends all through middle school and high school. I have a Bachelor degree in Human Development and Family Science and a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. I did a 12 week fieldwork rotation at a community mental health facility working with kids with mental and physical disabilities. I currently work as an OT at a hospital and am the on-call therapist for the NICU. I have experience working with special needs infants and children. As a medical professional I would be comfortable with most special needs equipment and medication. I am CPR certified for adult, child and infant. I do not have kids of my own right now but would love to share my time with yours!
