I absolutely love working with people and especially children. I have babysat in the past for both my little sister for many years as well as a few other families. Most recently, I babysat for two boys, one was a toddler and the other was seven years old. I have volunteered for many years, in local school systems working with little kids as well as older kids too. I've helped set up local spelling bees and kept the children engaged and having fun before work participating in spelling bees. I've also been in charge of tours for younger children visiting my high school. I have volunteered in the school system reading, watching an dorganizing projects and lessons for kids while the teacher is out of the room as well as helping students understand topics they are confused about and helping with homework. I also have worked as a tutor for Read more many different ages and would love to help work with kids on their homework as they need it and help them learn to read. I am very patient, friendly, and love to play and entertain children. I also am very responsible and careful. The welfare of your child is the most important thing to me. I plan on being an elementary teacher and I believe this would be great way for me to gain even more experience working with children. I am very comfortable with all types of animals as I've lived on a farm and have many pets myself. I am currently a first year in college and am working to help pay for college. I also am comfortable cooking dinner and driving if the parent or parents are comfortable with that. I love to read, be creative with crafting, play fun video games like Little Big Planet, and play outside. I am willing to meet in person and get to know or answer any questions parents may have for me.
