I am 64 years old, originally from Hawaii and moved to Virginia Beach with my husband and son in 1993. I was an LPN for over 40 years with experience in Med/Surg. , OB/GYN, Orthopedic wards, in Adolescent Medicine and a nursing home. In 1989 I started working for civil service at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, at the VA hospital in Bedford, Ma., at Hampton VA hospital when we moved to Virginia then transferred to Portsmouth Naval Medical Center where I worked on the Pediatric ward for 17 years. I retired in November 2011. I love to walk on the boardwalk at the oceanfront for exercise, enjoy cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing and make wreaths. My husband and I enjoy fishing on the pier during the summer. I enjoyed my career as an LPN but decided not to renew my license last year when it expired.
