I am a retired Nurse, that has worked as a nurse for 49 years full time. In the USA and Europe. I am now seeking a position as a caregiver for seniors or a childcare/babysitting position (part-time). I used to babysit in my home town of Danville, VT from 13y.o to 17y.o. for friends and neighborhood children before going into Nursing School. When I graduated from Nursing School I would still babysit for friends and family. I have had experience in childcare because of my babysitting as well as being a Pediatric nurse, and OB/Delivery room nurse, also helping out in the Newborn nursery, when Labor and Delivery was not busy.. I love taking care of infants, because they love to be held, and snuggled as you feed them, and when singing to them. It soothes their souls. I have taught CPR/BLS classes to professional firemen, and nursing professionals, as Read more well as lay people. I do not have a current certification however. Have not needed to have it, as I am not working as a nurse any longer.
