Although I do not currently have any certifications in childcare, I am currently taking classes at Thomas Nelson Community College to become a teacher. I love being around children and I believe I am great at connecting with them. I have babysat in the past for neighbors, close family friends, and other family members. I have been a caregiver for a young boy with autism and cerebral palsy from the time he was 6-13 years of age. I have also had experience with children through my current career as a hairstylist. Much of my clientele are families with young children. I have also volunteered at a karate school called East Coast Hapkido LLC for the summer. I helped plan fun events and prepare snacks and lunches for the children.
