Hi. I'm an education-oriented experienced nanny with emphasis on the creative and expressive arts, and I adore children! I'm searching for a loving family in need of an honest, dependable, flexible, active and nurturing care provider. I believe that learning and growing is an ongoing process that requires creativity, movement, motivation, inspiration and laughter, as well as boundaries and structure so children will feel safe, empowered and loved. I seem to have a special gift with children, who are drawn to my playful and animated personality. I always work closely with parents as part of a care-giving team to co-create a healthy and nurturing environment. Communication is the key. I love to engage children in music, dance, and crafting. I encourage reading, and use daily activities as an opportunity to learn and grow. I have experience with multiples, as well as special needs, including tube feedings, allergies and fear issues. Read more I’ve worked with babies starting at three months old, toddlers, and children up to 10 years old. I remained with my most resent family for almost seven years. The children's mother, Noelle, wrote the following in her letter of recommendation: “We found Cayce to be attentive to our parenting styles, making a point of addressing any issues with the children in a way that complements our efforts. Her expertise with children is also extremely beneficial when she offers creative solutions to challenges we are having. She helped us navigate through such challenges as potty training, an overwhelming fear of dogs, and our son's food allergy. Cayce has a gift for identifying a child's strengths and helping them excel through play, music, art and games. Cayce's style of child-care is a loving nurturing blend of imagination , education, and fun. The children enjoy her creativity, energy and laughter. They miss having her in our home every week, but continue to call her regularly to share their life stories with her.”
