Hello! My name is Sarah, and I love exploring and learning with kids! I've been working with kids for the better part of my (young) adult life. I spent five years working as a camp counselor for both boys and girls ranging in age from 8-17. Since graduating college (2015) I've worked in multiple capacities as a place and farm-based educator, working with kids (ages 4-adult) and families. I love living and working outdoors, and love creating whether it be experimenting in the kitchen, finding a trail to explore, or investigating a new museum. In addition to free play and exploration, I also love helping with the more structured aspects of being a kid, whether it be working on homework, learning how to take responsibility for projects and actions, and how to collaborate successfully. I have been red cross First Aid/CPR certified multiple times (although I admit the certifications may Read more have lapsed this year), and have both City of Winooski and Winooski School District background checks. I currently work on a local organic farm, as well as with the Winooski THRIVE after school program (ages 4-11) three days a week. I'm available in the evenings and on weekends.
