I'm a college senior studying human development and family science, as well as psychology. I have 8 years of experience in babysitting and childcare for ages 13 years and under, including experience working with children with special needs ages 4-13. I have worked and volunteered in a variety of environments, including in homes, classrooms, summer camps, and a barn that provided equine therapy. Currently, on weekdays, I'm working part time as an aide for children with disabilities at a summer camp, but I finish up there around 12:15 p.m. Mon, Tues, and Friday, and I'm off work by 1:15 p.m. Wed-Thurs, so l'm available weekay afternoons and evenings, as well as anytime on weekends. We had a wonderful experience with Ashton as a babysitter for our toddler! She was excellent at communicating before and during the job, arrived right on time, and immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our son with her. He had so much fun and was excited to tell us about his time with her afterward. Our child is potty trained but still needs some assistance, and she handled everything well. At the end of the evening, she gave us a thoughtful summary of everything they did, which we really appreciated. It was reassuring to know how his time went and showed how attentive she was throughout the visit. We would absolutely recommend her and would be happy to have her babysit for our family again!
