First and foremost, I love children. I decided to obtain an education degree due to my passion for teaching children. I am energetic, positive, patient and responsible. I enjoy being around children: playing and creating fun activities for them and assisting them in their educational and personal activities. I have served as a nanny and tutor for the past three years. These experiences with children allowed me to further apply the knowledge and skill I acquired in college and as a student teacher. I have learned the importance of taking the time to really get to know each child well and how crucial that part really is. Building a personal relationship with each child based on trust and respect creates a positive and caring environment. I have babysat children anywhere from three months old to thirteen years old. When I graduated with a degree in Middle Childhood Education, from the University of Cincinnati, I decided to move to New York City. I served as a caregiver and tutor for a family of two girls, now at the ages of 11 and 8, for the past 3 years. I took them to and from school each day, assisted them in their educational activities, cooked and cared for them. I have loved and really come to enjoy my experiences as a nanny. I have recently moved to Burlington and would love the opportunity to become a part of a wonderful family!
