Experience, training, certification: I am a first year nursing student at UVM from the area. I have experience watching children of a range of ages. This past summer I watched, fed, and played with an adorable 18 month old 3-4 days per week for 6 hours at a time. I am comfortable with sitting for families with multiple young children (i.e. a current family I sit for occasional has an 8 month old and a 2 and 4 year old). Last spring I completed first aid and CPR courses (adult, pediatric, and infant) with American Red Cross and I plan to renew that certification once it expires. Besides school and obviously babysitting I like to stay busy with yoga, running, and spending times Read more with family/friends/pets. *A note about the car question-- Being a freshman at UVM, I cannot keep a car on campus; however, I do have access to one that I keep at home about 20 minutes away. With enough notice I am typically able to use it for transportation to jobs. It just takes a bit of planning and consideration on my part to work with my family members' own work/school/extracurricular schedules.
