My name is Nicole Roos, and I am a 20-year-old student at Middlebury College in Vermont. I was born in San Francisco, as were my parents and grandparents, but moved with my family to Sun Valley, Idaho at age one. Sun Valley has some amazing outdoor recreation, and growing up there helped me develop not only a love for nature but a love for outdoor recreation and athletics. I was on the Sun Valley ski team for 10 years and I continue as a competitive alpine ski racer for the NCAA Division I Middlebury Ski Team. When I am not skiing I enjoy playing soccer, waterskiing, mountain and road biking, camping, boating and hiking. I also love photography, arts and crafts, music and reading. When I am caregiving, I love to be outside with the children, doing anything from riding bikes to pick-up soccer.
