I am currently employed by Champlain Valley School District, Shelburne, Vt as a para educator at Charlotte Central School, Charlotte, Vt. For a second grade class of 23 students. I assist the teacher with individual academic and behavioral challenges, as well as, accomplishing smooth transitions between subjects for such a large class. Prior to this position, I was hired by the Rutlan NE Supervidory Unipon, Brandon, Vt to be a one-on-one para educator for a fifth grader with extreme academic and behavioral difficulties. For years I was a substitute teacher for three school districts, on call and for future assignments. I subbed in grades Pre-K through 12th grade, and the enhanced arts as well. I have directed art camps , grades 1-12. I am CPR certified. I have two children of my own with a grandchild on the way.
