Hello, I am the mother of one bucket full of sunshine! (Technically, a 12 year old boy). I believe it is my mission on earth to be a caregiver. I love all things living- plant, animal and human. I have nanny experience in three households, caring for children infant through age 12. In these households I have been responsible for light to heavy duty housekeeping, meal prep, driving children to school and activities, and general child care. I have also worked 4 years in an elementary school as a one on one teachers aide, and one year in a high school working one on one with a very special kiddo. (I loved my job). I also have worked in a special needs summer camp and have many many years of general child care experience from infancy on up. I have special experience with children on the spectrum (my son his Read more high functioning autistic) at home and at work. I have completed a certified course concerning teaching children on the spectrum. A personal note on me: I'm very crafty and love to organize activities and crafts for the little (and bigger) ones. I also love to spend time out in the fresh air and sun. My son and I make frequent playground trips. :-). Our eating habits at home are generally quite healthy. I eat a good deal organic, and, when in season, local. However I respect everyones own personal eating habits. I also love to cook!
