Hello. My name is Amanda and I am a Professional Childcare Provider. I have 10+ years of experience working with children all starting from babysitting at age 15, to becoming the Lead Teacher Assistant at SEVCA Windsor county Head Start. I provide care for 15 children in the classroom. I am also a part time employee through HCRS providing Respite care for children ages 4 and up. I have a son that will be 2 in May. I have worked closely with many families providing care for their children since they were born. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have been working towards my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have experience working with children with many disabilities ranging from Autism to Down Syndrome and more. I have worked in the School District as an Intensive Needs Para Educator. As you can see since I was a Read more teenager I have absolutely loved working with children of all ages. Everyday I am with a child I am learning something new. Having a son of my own is the most rewarding feeling I have ever had. I love doing art projects and playing games. I love being outdoors especially in the beautiful weather. I am a very patient, organized, understanding person who only strives to provide the best care I can for the children I encounter. I love to help any way I can including cleaning and making sure additional household chores are met.
