I am finishing a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Western Washington University. I love working with kids with experience ranging from babysitting, tutoring, swim lessons, after school childcare with the YMCA, and a summer camp counselor. I also have experience working with youth and adults with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified and Wilderness First Responder certified as well. I have clean driving record and drive a 2010 car in good condition. In working with youth, I'm all about meeting them on their level. I'm very content to enter their imaginary worlds and explore them together, play new games, help them with homework, and in general be a positive influence on their lives and development. I try to avoid TV and electronics in favor of engaging children with the world around them. I can cook, care for animals, and do basic housework as well.
