Hello, I am a 28 year old professional with over 10 years of childcare experience. Most recently I was the Director of a local, accredited play-based center serving 70 children here in Vermont. Prior to my role as Director I was the lead teacher in the 2-3 year old room. While my degree from UVM is in Public Communications I have also taken many of core education classes, including childhood development, curriculum development, play-based learning environments, educational psychology etc. After taking some time away from working with kids to pursue a career in my educational field, I have decided it is time to get back to my roots. I find such joy and happiness in being able to teach a child how to solve problems, learn from mistakes, and build their core skills.
