Meet Madelyn

As the oldest child of all my parent's friends I was always the one who looked after the others. After we had grown up my cousins were brought into the world and of course I watch over them. Two of my cousins are around 8 years old and one of them is about 14 months! I've also had some professional experience with children. I had to build structures with blocks, read and engage in books, and play role playing games with various 4-year-olds while giving a research intervention. I also supervised and was a mentor to 13-16 year old youths, and I helped them create their own multimedia projects, whether it was shooting and editing videos, or teaching them how to use photoshop. I enjoy reading, cooking, and singing. I'm interested in gardening (though I'm not much of a green thumb), and I'm currently practicing the violin. I enjoy playing Read more video games and volleyball. Anything your kids can do in school I can do with them! If you also have pet babies, I also have experience with animals. I lived with cats and a dog when I was a child, and today I love playing and taking care of my aunt's two cats. If you have any other types of animals I'd love to learn about them and how to care for them, but I can't say I will take care of them since I've not had previous experience with them (unless you teach me and really trust me, and I promise I'll do my best!).
