Hello! My name is Marion and I am a Nursing Student at the University of Portland (UP). I have been job searching for a babysitter/nanny position in the summer, as well as next year. I have a strong passion and interest in caring for children. I am hoping to become specialized in labor and delivery nursing! Additionally, I am in the Army ROTC program at UP, and have exceptional professional and organizational skills needed for a committed job. I have looked after young children ages infant-11 years old, and I am CPR and First Aid qualified, and have a natural quality for nurturing. Last summer I was a lifeguard at Marshall Community Center, and I did not find the job extremely rewarding. This summer I would like to do something with meaning, and that I would thoroughly enjoy. I graduated from Columbia River High School in the IB program, was an honor student, and a tri-varsity athlete with a soccer state championship. I got a 3.5 year Scholarship to UP for ROTC. I enjoy hiking, exercising, and playing with my black Labrador, Penny. I grew up in Battle Ground, WA and consequently, was raised with many pets. I am extremely comfortable around pets- any and all of them. I have my own transportation and am able to help with housecleaning, pet care, feeding, transportation, and laundry. I am a very fast learner and get the hang of things easily. I am taking summer courses on Tuesday's and Thursday's May 16- June 23. I am extremely flexible, otherwise.
