I love kids, I have taught at Camp Columbia Leadership camp for 7 years in a row, which teaches middle school level students theatrical, psychological and social skills of being a great leader in this society such as how to treat others with empathy, how to connect with kindness, how to be vulnerable, and how to be a leader in your school! I also am graduating in June 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, which has helped me to understand developmental issues, parenting practices, why people think the way they do, and has helped me understand how to teach and connect with children or young teens. In addition, I am interning at Bellingham Children's Theatre with the owner, who is my mentor. We produce theatrical productions for young teen girls about personal relationships, body empowerment and social issues. I have previous baby sitting experience starting at 13 years old, and throughout my high school and college career. I hope to gain more experience and connect with children in a creative and fun environment where I can be a mentor to look up to and a good representation of an adult figure!
