I currently work part time for a family with a 1 and 4yr old and 2 very large dogs. I also occasionally work for a mom with a 2yr old boy. Prior to this I was a live-in nanny for 2yrs to a 3 and 4yr. old. My philosophy about caring for children is that they need love and nurturing more than anything else. I think structure and consistency are important too. I like to incorporate learning with play with the goal being to have fun. I find little children to be such a joy because they are eager to learn, curious, and playful. Over the years I have also cared for my nieces and nephew. Most of my previous experience was in healthcare administration. I am CPR certified and took the CNA course. I completed 2yrs of college in Sociology. I also currently work part time caring for a Read more 92yr old lady who had a stroke. I can provide references and resume to anyone interested. I will also provide a background check. I did not do it here because I did not want to put credit card info online. I also have a spotless driving record.
