I started my child-care career by working in a home-based business, 'Little Steps' with infants, toddlers and a 7 year old. I changed diapers, prepared bottles and bottle-fed daily (really loved it!) for about a year, until financial issues hit. However, my wonderful boss recommended me directly to another home-based 5-star preschool, where I worked directly with the boss. She encouraged my passion of children...and language. From there I was again personally recommended to another school, this experience at a Lutheran School. Finally, I previously worked at an International School, being informed about it from the Lutheran school, and thoroughly enjoyed being with children, helping them and learning international languages with them. Every experience I have had with the children I have worked with, has been truly intrinsically and extrinsically rewarding. I always get attached however, so transitioning is difficult. I do desire a long-time employment. I have never been Read more fired, I have only experienced transitions on peaceful notes. However, I do develop relationships with the children I work with because I devote so much time and effort into them, because they are worth it. I believe children are the foundation of life itself-a hope and so very valuable-to be treasured and highly regarded and cherished. I have an updated CPR/First Aid and criminal background check and fingerprinting and am willing and open to go through any investigation. Children deserve complete honesty as each is irreplaceable.
