I began babysitting at the age of 12 for my neighbors. I love children and they naturally seem to like me as well. I took a year of early childhood education at Tri-Tech. I worked at the ARC Partners and Pals developmental summer program for children 2-7 with developmental disabilities. I have babysat for dozens of families including large families with many children, and families with children who have cerebral palsy, autism and Down Syndrome. I have been a nursery attendant at my church for both the infant/toddler nursery and a preschool (ages 4/5) sunday school assistant. This summer I worked at Camp Swelakin in the kitchen. Camp Swelakin is an integrated Campfire camp with both developmentally disabled children and typical developed children. I have a current CPR/First Aid card and a food handlers card as well as STARS training which gives me a basic certification to work at a Read more licensed preschool/daycare. I graduated from high school in June of 2014 and I would like to work with children. I an also a mom of a 14 month old.
