I love working with children. I have been caring and working with children for the last six years of my life. I began babysitting at the end of junior high, as I cared for a young girl as she and I both grew up. In high school, I was a mentor for a young (3rd-5th grade) child through the CKSD mentoring program. At this time, my niece was born, and I have spent the last three years babysitting and help caring for her. I am currently an Early Childhood and Family Studies major at the University of Washington, graduating this June 2015. Through this major, I have been able to care for more children. I have volunteered at a Seattle 1st/2nd grade classroom. I volunteered for a year in a preschool classroom in Seattle. This past spring, I worked for the YMCA as a Camp Colman staff member. This past Read more summer, I was a teacher for the Community Day School Association summer camp in Seattle. This autumn, I moved to Norway and worked in an outdoor Norwegian kindergarten. I love playing outdoors, singing, dancing, creating art, and learning with children.
