I live here in Maple Valley, WA with my boyfriend Travis who is in the Air Force reserves and works for Alaska Airlines. We both moved here in July after living in Texas for 5 years while he was in Active Duty. We are so glad to be back in the beautiful PNW!! Awhile before that, I lived in Minot AFB, ND and worked at the Youthcenter on base. I was responsible for getting a large around of children ready for school, making sure homework was ready to be turned in that day, play games and create physical activities for the kids to do Read more to make sure they got a heathy amount of exercise each day. I would walk my group ( which was about 12 kids) to school and pick them up, bring them back to the Youthcenter, play games, do homework serve snacks all before parents picked them up! When I had to leave this job, I was very upset. It was the best job I've had yet. Caring for children is what I love doing and I thjnk I'm pretty good at it! I've worked with infants up to pre teens and am confortable with all ages. I've babysat for family and friends since I was around 13. My experience with childcare runs back about 10 years. It's what I love to do!!
