I love nature, people, dancing, yoga, music, and making things with my hands. I'm passionate about health and well-being, and I love learning about vibrant communities and ways to foster deep connection. I recently moved to WA from the east coast to attend the Anake Program at the Wilderness Awareness School, and I'm very excited to get to know the beautiful PNW! I nannied and babysat for a family over the course of 6 years in Martha's Vineyard, MA...it was hard to leave them! I have experience babysitting children from ages 3-12, and would be completely open to working with younger children as well. I studied Communication and Education at UMass Amherst, Reiki (Level I and II) in Australia, and attained a 200-hour yoga teacher certification in Costa Rica. I am currently studying towards a Permaculture Design Certificate. I would love to connect with a family that loves nature/art/movement...and I Read more would be more than happy to share the skills that I'm learning with the child/children I'll be hanging out with. Please note, I am in class Tues, Wed and Thurs from 9am-3pm and there are several week-long excursions that I must attend between now and June 2019.
