I am finally comfortable leaving my son and daughter alone for an extended amount of time if my husband or I can not be home with them.I miss the years when they were babies. I find looking after babies and children to be rewarding and worthwhile. The satisfaction Iv'e experienced by looking after little ones is like no other job Iv'e performed. I come from a family of 9 children, so I was in charge of and surrounded by children of all ages. In college I looked after a special needs child who was paraplegic. I administered physical therapy, helped to get her up in braces, and engaged her in a lot of arts and crafts projects. I was also, the primary caretaker for my siblings children throughout the years, as well as other peoples children.I am creative as my background is in art and design. I enjoy involving and Read more engaging children with playtime that utilizes their imagination. I am in awe of the many different stages that babies and children go through. It is a delight to witness the wonder and excitement a child feels when they discover something new, through their eyes. I never take that for granted and appreciate the opportunity to do so.
