I am infant CPR, first aid and blood born pathogen certified and can pass a back ground check and drug test. I have enjoyed caring for children ever since my brother was born when I was 16 and I was the "built in babysitter". I started to nanny professionally during my pregnancy. After my daughter was born I was a dedicated stay at home mom for the first three years of her life, during that precious time I avidly educated myself through parenting videos, books and seminars. My daughter is now 8 years old, how time flies. I have worked at an in home daycare for children 0-3 years as an assistant, this is when I realized my dream of one day owning my own in home daycare when my little one is a little older. After working for the daycare for over a year I decided to become a Read more nanny, and have enjoyed working for a lovely family with 5 children, I was responsible for the youngest three, a toddler boy and twin girls. I started when the girls where only 8 weeks old and have watched them grow into beautiful toddlers over my time with this family. I also babysit for a family with one baby boy on the weekends and I've been with them since their son was newborn as well. I'm now looking for a family with a newborn who needs exceptional care from a loving, dedicated and trustworthy nanny. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and laundry. My other experience with children includes teaching 5th grade art at an Elementary School in Maui, HI, when I as in high-school. I also volunteered with inner city children in Chicago as an art teacher when I was in college. I love fun creative projects with young children and getting outside in nice weather.
