I grew up babysitting in my neighborhood starting at the age of 13 and that was over 20 years ago. As I grew up, my experience increased to include helping children with their homework, running children around to all their obligations, shopping for school supplies, and cooking dinner. I have babysat newborns, triplets, five children at once, children with special needs…you name it, I have probably done it. My additional work and volunteer experience bolsters my general ability to care for children. I have been trained as an EMT, so I am familiar with first aid/CPR, although not certified yet in Washington state. I have also worked in a hospital emergency room as a technician, volunteered in orphanages and worked as a teacher's aid and camp counselor for children with special needs (Autism, Down's Syndrome, speech delay…) I am currently planning to enroll in grad school and would like some Read more supplemental income during this transitional phase.
