I have past experience working in a daycare setting, where I spent most of my time enjoying caring for infants 6 weeks to 6 months old, and I also spent time as an assistant teacher for the two year olds. After leaving the daycare, I was a nanny for a 4 year old and a 9 month old. Although it has been several years since I've worked in formal childcare, I get the chance to babysit for family and friends from time to time. My husband and I recently moved to Kirkland from Texas, and I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to return to school where I am studying Occupational Therapy Assisting. I attend school from 8 a.m. until noon Monday through Thursday in Renton. I love caring for children of all ages, especially babies, and will be happy to help older children with homework and extracurricular activities.
