I have expirence working with children with mental disablilites as well as adults with mental and physical disabilities. I worked in a childrens group home for a year and 10 months. I assisted 4 children with mental disabilities and high behaviors with daily living. Hygiene, cooking, cleaning, managing money, administering medications, making amd maintaining friendships, planning trips, doing arts and crafts, ect. I also worked with a 70 year old woman with physical and mental disabilities. I did the same things I did with the kids as well as transfer from wheel chair to bed, bathroom, shower ect. I very much enjoy working with people, especially children. It has been my passion almost all of my life to help those in need. I am a mother to a smart 2 year old girl, so I have expirence with infants/toddlers as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
