My name is Mara Brown, and I'm 20 years old. I've been watching children since i was 10 years old. In 2007, my mom had a several strokes, she wasn't well enough to care for my youngest brother who was 5 at the time and he has autism, so that is when I began reading books on childcare. I've always taken care of my younger brother, even to today. I've watched many younger cousins, friends children, from 10 weeks old to 13 years old. Never under my watch have I upset the children, I clearly communicate to them, I get along with all children.. so far. I've never worked in a daycare, but I have job shadowed two family members at two different facilities, with the same company, Sprouts Growth Center.
