I have just finished up my second year of college and am currently working on an Exercise Science major. I switched from an Elementary Education major last year, but in that time I was able to gain a semester of experience through the Elementary Ed block where i had the privilege of helping out with a second grade class and got to know the students as well as help them learn. Besides that experience, I have helped out in the children's nursery at various churches and also have baby sat for various family friends and neighbors countless times.I have also become First Aid/ CPR certified through taking a Injury Care and Safety course at my school. I have recently moved to this area from Kentucky and am transferring to Eastern in the fall. I am finishing up settling in and am free all summer for babysitting and working.
