I have worked for a professional baby sitting company for 4+ years. I was a school teacher for 8 years and taught 1st and 2nd grade children. I currently volunteer in my church nursery. I enjoy working with young children and school age children as well. I am a responsible and caring person and I try to be interactive with each child. Mary Lou is a wonderful sitter. She watches my 5 year old son who suffers from brain damage. My son is non-verbal, has physical and severe mental delays, has many sensory issues, and is still in diapers. Mary Lou cares for my son weekly with love and tenderness. She is a natural teacher who always uses my son's toys as learning exercises (that he just sees as play). She also brings books to read with my son as well. Since my son is slow to learn it can be very long-suffering to teach him but she is patient and loving. Mary Lou is always on time, communicates well with us, and is very conscientious. I would recommend Mary Lou without reservation.
