Meet Emma
My name is Emma, I'm 23 years old and about to get married and move to Seattle. I'm a student studying Human Development, and I love learning about the development of children and applying what I learn. I have 3 younger siblings and have helped cared for them from a young age. I started babysitting for other families at age 11 and have cared for various kids and families in my neighborhood. Children ranged from newborns to 10 years old. I've also worked as a Site Coordinator for 4-H Mentoring (a youth development program). Part of my responsibilities included running an after school club with 15 children ages 9-12. I am 3 semesters away from graduation with a degree in Human Development and plan to be a Certified Family Life Educator and Marriage and Family Therapist.
