I am a current student here at Washington State University studying Neuroscience and Psychology. I grew up with two younger brothers and babysat them constantly through-out my childhood. I would often take care of family friends' children as well in the evenings so that their parents could go out for date-night. Recently i have worked as a Summer School Kindergarten Teacher at a private school in Hawaii and took care of 20 children in that classroom setting as well as helped run the Physical Education portion for kids up to age 12. I have also volunteered at church events where i worked in the nursery with the younger children. I am a very patient and positive person and believe that those are important attributes to have when working with younger children. I think baby-sitters as a whole have a responsibility to make the children comfortable, to play with them and Read more to pique their creativity as learning is very important at such a young age and every person who comes in contact with the children has the potential to impact them positively and help them learn. I have taken and been certified in CPR and first aid as well.
