I have been watching after the youngsters all my life but more for friends and family. I have always loved being around children, they keep life simple and full of imaginary fun. I took child care classes in high school thinking that would be my career, but I ended up falling in love with heath care as I got older and got an AAS in Science and became a massage therapist. After 10 amazing years working with alternative medicine and adults I have decided I need more kids in my life. So, in deciding what to do next I found my heart was passionate with early childhood learning. I just moved to the Washington area and would love to get into taking care of them and teaching them new things. As soon as I get settled and have the time and finances I will begin taking classes for ECL. I Read more have a lot of experience taking care of my friends kids as well as my niece. My friends have dubbed me the baby whisperer, I laugh because I have certainly held a crying baby or child but there have been miraculous times when they have cried in everyone's arms then when handed to me they stop crying and fall fast asleep. I am sure others have that wonderful touch as well.
