I've been watching children of all ages since I was 5. Starting with my younger siblings and then on to my younger cousins and family friends. I am currently working for a family in West Richland watching their 17 month old son until June 14th, when they'll be putting him in a full time day care. (I began watching him when he was only 3 months old). I also have my own son, and he is 2 and a half that I bring to work with me. Before my current position, I lived in Spokane and was a teacher's assistant at a daycare/preschool facility where I worked with kids from 18 months to 3 years old. I am planning on taking classes at CBC part time beginning in the fall and adjust classes to my work schedule. But for now, I'm enjoying working and staying home with my son.
