I have raised my five children, have been very involved in advocating for kids of all kinds, from those with special needs and learning differences, to those with ADD/ADHD and mood disorders, to kids at high risk. I have served on the Lake Washington School District's PTSA Council for over 5 years, ran a support group for parents for 18 years, have served in my church's youth ministry for over ten years workng with middle school and high school kids. I was a PTSA aboard Member at Margaret Mead Elementary for 19 years, at Inglewood Middle School for 15 years, and at Eastlake High School for 15 years. I have babysat for numerous friends and family over the years and am looking forward to welcoming my first grandchild next June. I worked in our church nursery when my kids were young.
