I am a local artist and grad student pursuing my Masters in Elementary Education. For my undergrad degree I studied painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and fine arts book binding at Cornish College of the Arts. I have experience with children ages five to thirteen in both school and out of school settings. In the past I have given one on one private art lessons, run an art day camp with 7-10 children, and babysat. In school I have participated in classroom internships that included lesson planning and tutoring. I am well versed in a variety of children's literature as well as animated, family, and teen movies. As far as my personality goes I am a healthy combination of whimsical and practical. I am happy to do everything from helping with homework and making arts/crafts projects to taking adventures to the park, beach, children's museum, etc. I am comfortable running erands, Read more making meals, and reading aloud before bedtime.
