I have always enjoyed being around kids. Beginning as early as high school, I was tutoring elementary school children (K-5th) in math and English. This was also when I had my first ongoing babysitting job. I graduated in May 2014 from Wellesley College with a degree in Environmental Studies. I babysat throughout my time studying, for a variety of families; infants, toddlers, middle-schoolers, boys, and girls. I am comfortable one-on-one or with three kids at once (or more!) Most recently I was a sitter for a family with three children: 7 months (boy), 4 years (boy), and 7 years (girl.) I come from a creative background. Having spent my high school years at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in San Francisco, there is nothing that I enjoy more than drawing and creating things with the kids that I am with. I helped run a volunteer program with a local Read more environmental non-profit. Within this job, I led groups of all sizes and ages in restoration and trail maintenance activities. Oftentimes I worked with school groups with upwards of 50 kids on a joint lesson and stewardship component (tree planting, working in our native plant nursery, etc.) Suffice to say, I enjoy being outside and getting others out as well. I am currently working remotely for a food and farming nonprofit based in Madison, WI. My schedule is flexible due to the remote nature of the work, and operating on Central Time.
