I am a graduate student at Seattle Pacific in the psychology department seeking part-time work! I work part-time at Anthropologie in downtown Seattle, but live in the Ballard area - I am open to babysitting or nannying for families downtown, capitol hill area, Queen Anne, Magnolia, or Ballard! I am an extremely fun-loving person, and love interacting with kids. I grew up in southern California and am used to an active lifestyle - I enjoy surfing, swimming, hiking, and biking. I am also very creative - I enjoy arts and crafts as well as cooking and baking. I am able to do house work such as cleaning and laundry if that would be helpful for you. I am also extremely comfortable with pets - dogs and cats alike! I have experience supervising larger groups of children as well as some tutoring experience. I supervised groups of approximately 6-10 students on Read more a weekly basis at a church I attended in college. My responsibilities were to teach a lesson, help kids with a craft or game, and supervising the kids as they moved to different classrooms or outside to play. This job required a lot of creativity as I often had to come up with ways to entertain the kids during free time. I supervised preschoolers through 2nd graders, so I am comfortable with kids of different age groups. I did some babysitting in college as well, and can provide a reference from the family I worked for. I also have tutoring experience, mostly with college students. I worked as a part-time tutor during my college education at Baylor University in psychology and language courses. I am comfortable helping kids with homework of doing some tutoring if that is a need you have!
