Hello, I'm Katelyn and I'd love to help you care for your children! I am the eldest of three, from a large family with many cousins and lots of babies. I started babysitting for families in my neighborhood at age 12, and now have 13+ years of experience working with children! I volunteer with Girls On The Run, coaching girl’s ages 8-11 years a curriculum based on developing positive self-image and values. I have also spent several summers working in as a camp counselor in the San Juan Islands. One of my favorite things about caring for kids is the opportunity to help foster their imaginations. Childhood is an adventure, and there should never be a dull moment. I grew up in Seattle, and have a long list of fun kid approved activities to do! I love to craft and sew, draw and paint, play games, read and stay active. Read more I am responsible and fun. I enjoy cooking, and would be delighted to help out in the kitchen. I am also able to clean/ tidy up. I have a clean driving record, and a valid license- however; I unfortunately do not own a car. I am a member of car2go and have reliable transportation. I am a non-smoker. I am registered to take an Adult/Infant First Aid/ CPR class on 2/09/15, and will be certified for infants, children, and adults. Overall, I love kids, and genuinely enjoy caring for them!
