Hi, my name is Arielle! I moved to NYC about 2 and a half years ago for a job and also did some nannying on the side, which I really enjoyed. Since I'm currently in an Urban Planning masters program and looking for more flexibility in my schedule, I'm hoping to get reconnected to some local families to provide childcare. I have been babysitting since the 8th grade and working with children is something that I really enjoy and have a lot of experience with. I've been a full time summer camp counselor, taught garden classes, worked as a preschool teacher's assistant, and done various childcare and nanny roles. Even as I've worked different and often full-time jobs, I've managed to get in some babysitting, which I really enjoyed and am now looking forward to having more free time to do. Additionally, I can cook and clean and do basic Read more household work. For some background, I grew up in Chicago and graduated from Macalester College in Minnesota in 2014. After that I completed a year-long program in Seattle working at a local non-profit there and then soon moved to NYC for a fellowship with a nonprofit incubator. Since then I've also started grad school at Hunter College. As I said, I have a relatively flexible schedule at the moment and am open to weekly/part-time positions as well as well as the occasional needs. References available upon request.
