Hello everyone! I'm Anna. Michigan native. Theatre fanatic, Sandwich enthusiast. I've been in the Seattle area for over 4 years working in the non-profit field, and of course...coffee! While my previous work has been great I'm very excited to get back into childcare and to have a job where I am able to make a direct impact. I began sitting quite young primarily, but not exclusively, for family and family friends. Over the years my experience has grown to include infants, children, and young teens, with both day time and overnight care. Meals, playtime, bath time, school pickups and drop offs. I've done it all! In addition to direct care have worked with children through community theatre and athletics. I was also a Walt Disney World employee so I'm pretty much the queen of fun. My goals when giving childcare are to provide a fun, comfortable, and safe environment. I Read more love to create games and activities, and encourage children to use their imaginations. One of my biggest philosophies is simply to treat children like people. I find so often that others interact with kids in a condescending way and forget that they are just regular people with thoughts, opinions, and feelings. I believe when kids are respected they are more open and comfortable coming to me in times of need, better able to express what may be upsetting them, or just sharing their ideas.
