Hi, my name is Asya. I am a certified Elementry school teacher. I am also endorsed in Special Education. Elementary is one of my favorite ages because that is when they are so curious about the world around them and they are ready to explore! I am 23 years old; very active, love to stay busy, and care about the wellbeing of everyone around. I have been CPR/ First Aid certified as well. I love to travel and this has given me an opportunity to work with kids in Mozambique for 4 months, India for two weeks, and mexico for two weeks. I have been a nanny for a few years in college. We interviewed Asya for a position taking care of our 3 month old daughter (but unfortunately ultimately needed different hours from what she could do). She came across as a mature, warm and open person and I felt she would be great with our baby and in interactions with our older daughter. I also appreciated that she is studying education and, although not her major, she clearly took an active interest in early childhood development.
