Tessa watched our 5 year old daughter multiple times over the last few months. She provided very good care and our daughter enjoyed when Tessa would watch her. When we first had Tessa start watching our daughter months ago we outlined a few dates in advance that we knew we needed childcare. One of these dates was the U2 concert in Seattle on Mothers Day. Six days prior to the concert, my wife confirmed via text that Tessa was available and asked her what exact time would work for her (5:00, 6:00). Tessa confirmed that day that she was available. On Mothers Day, the morning of the concert, my wife reconfirmed the time. Tessa claimed that she had texted my wife 5 days prior to check the exact time and said that since my wife didn't respond (my wife never received the text) so she made other plans and could not watch our daughter for the concert. This lack of reliability ruined my wife's Mothers Day and nearly prevented us from going to the concert. After this incident, Tessa just stopped responding to my wife's texts. She can't be relied upon unfortunately.
