I grew up babysitting all through highschool and college and just generally, loving on kids. After college I worked for the YMCA for 7 years as sports and rec director, summer day camp director and a youth development director, working with kids aged infant to teen. I believe in experiential learning for children and also strive to provide sensory learning and variety of enrichment activities. I have a 5 month old daughter and my wife and I relocating to Portland in July to be closer to family. My wife is a highschool counselor and will be working full time. My profession by trade is human resources, so I will be working part time at a local hospital in the HR department, but will be staying home with our daughter in the mornings. I would love to care for another child and assist another family that is seeking caring, compassionate, and Read more enriched care for their child.
