Hello, my name is Mayra Ojeda. I am a freshman at the University of Washington hoping to obtain a Nursing degree with a desire of working at the Children's Hospital. I currently work with a program called Jumpstart at Seed of Life preschool with children ages 3-5. In the summer of 2017, I was a summer camp mentor for children in the Yakima Valley who come from low-income families. I may not have any certifications, but I have always been around kids. At the age of 14 I started to babysit my niece every summer up until college. I love kids and hope to be in a career around kids. I know as parents your children are the most important thing in the world. If given the chance, I would love to show that you can trust me with caring for your child. Thank you.
